HGTV’s 2011 Dream House at Spruce Peak in the Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont was sold in April this year, overseen by Stowe Vermont company owner Susi Benoit. Eric and Catherine Makstenieks the original owners and winners, of the home, have sold it to a large family of seven for 2.7 million.

Eric and Catherine Makstenieks the original owners and winners, of the property, have sold it to a sizable family of seven for 2.7 million. This is a second home for the Boston family who aquired it in the hopes of making new joyful memories in Stowe. They have five children between the ages of 10 months and 9 years and they all ski except the youngest, making this mountain location an ideal fit. They are already planning on adding a fourth bedroom over the garage in order to fit the needs of their family. In addition to the mountain setting, they enjoy the existing open floor plan, which will allow for plenty of family interaction, bonding, comfort, and growth.
